This is my first winter in Finland so I am still confused about the right time for changing winter tires.
According to [traficom.fi](https://traficom.fi), “If so required by weather or road surface conditions, winter tyres must be used from 1 November to 31 March. Studded tyres can be used from 1 November to 31 March and also during other periods if so required by weather or road surface conditions. ”
Because I have no previous experience with winter tries, I just want to know what are the required weather or road conditions that I should change my studded tries, or is it a good idea for me to reserve a change just at last weekend of Oct?
