Israel and Ukraine relations are complicated but seems to be moving closer.
Ukraine was arming Israel’s enemies before 2014. Between 2014 and 2021 the Ukrainian UN voting record was one of the most pro-Palestinian among European nations along with Ireland and Sweden. However all that changed after the Russian invasion in 2022.
That is a crazy statement, Palestine is the one being occupied and genocided. Palestine absolutely has the right to use force to defend itself. Of course, rights are quite fungible, since Palestinians are not white. But still, theoretically speaking, if there was a world order where everyone had equal rights…
This statement is schizophrenic, when its made by Ukraine lol.

Incredibly hypocritical from Ukraine, considering that Israel is the one occuping and colonizing Palestine.
The Israely regime is basicaly an appartheid state, the images of police brutality from there are chilling.
This of course dosen’t mean i like the government of Palestine, who is made up of either corrupt assholes or fanatic nationalists who support islamic extremists.
But neither many good things can be said abaout Ukraine government, with widespread corruption and tyrannical edicts like conscription.
Can we all just agree that ALL governments suck equaly and all politicians are evil? And feel bad for the innocent people caught in the crossfire? The ones who suffer because greedy politicians want to become even more rich and powerful?

After seeing this article I remembered the “Israel occupying West Bank” news reports that always came up some years back. Now I had never actually checked to what extent this “occupation” reached, and always thought that it would just be some villages on the border areas. Being bored, I searched it up now. So apparently [this](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_occupation_of_the_West_Bank#/media/File:Settlements2006.jpg) is the amount occupied lmao? Quite a bit more proportionally than what Russia has in Ukraine.
As an observer with a usually objective perspective on recent affairs (reject Russia’s war and unchecked Muslim immigration to EU region), this support from Ukraine seems massively hypocritical to me.
I’d say Ukraine is closer to Palestine’s situation
