  1. Hamas has not thought about the consequences of their actions beforehand. What a senseless act of violence. Hamas is not only bringing terror to Israel but opened the gates of hell to their own people as well. This will get very ugly.

  2. The Pentagon doesn’t choose sides, the White House does. That title is distorted to deflect responsibility from Biden.

  3. > Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the U.S. stands squarely by Israel and will ensure it “has what it needs to defend itself” after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war against Palestinian militants that launched a surprise attack on his country.

    > The U.S. is one of Israel’s staunchest allies and has provided around $3.8 billion a year to the country.

    > Israeli PM, Netanyahu declared war on Saturday against Palestinian militant groups after Hamas launched a surprise, multi-frontal attack inside Israel.

  4. The gloves need to come off. Israel has been too kind to Hamas.

  5. read somewhere that hamas is asking hezbollah to invade from the north from lebanon. wtf is wrong with these people. the videos coming out is horrible and spine chilling. they’re literally parading a dead naked female idf soldier and shooting innocents. fuck these people man hope they burn in hell

  6. Surely the war has to be to take control of Gaza (or try) in it’s entirety now. If it’s more of what we’ve seen in the past then…

  7. It’s cursed land.. over the years, this is the conclusion I’ve come to. Most lands with deep religious roots are. This will never end.once both sides meet their ends, new sects will emerge to claim it as their own, so it goes.

  8. Allies helping each other against evil is exactly what the world needs.

  9. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Cori Bush condemn Israel for this attack.

  10. Every bit of this feels like an elaborate, long term plan that I have already seen somewhere else.

  11. When the choice is between genocidal supremacists or extremist terrorists the only moral position is to stay the fuck out of it.

  12. Hamas wanted war, Israel will give them war. The retaliation will be biblical. Israel has the most conservative government right now. Incredibly dumb of Hamas. I pity the average peaceful Palestinian.

  13. Oh boy, another war for us to funnel billions into. This needs to stop. They need to either deal with it themselves, or wipe each other out.

  14. We’ve supported them through apartheid and illegal occupation and we sure aren’t about to change our tune now.

  15. This happened on Netanyahu’s watch. He needs to step down.

  16. Wonder how the “no more war” GOP will feel about this one

  17. Declaring war on non-state actors has a tendency to drag out into a horrible clusterfuck for all sides involved. I feel terrible for all the civilians caught in the middle of it.

  18. How far will they support them? Will they support their self-defense if it means attacking Qatar?

  19. We need to stay the fuck out of it. Let the Jews and Arabs kill each other. It’s what they all want.

  20. Hamas is an authoritarian terrorist ‘government’ that has destroyed any hope for peace and security for everyone < 35 years of age living in Gaza. Everyone under 35 have had no choice in government since the last election 17 years ago.

  21. “Creedance clearwater – Fortunate Son” starts playing..

  22. President Biden has been a supporter of the two state solution between Israelis and Palestinians. This attack does not help with that, and now the US is willing to directly provide material support to Israel’s defense. Between this and Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine, we are seeing the various world alliances form up between authoritarian regimes and democratic style governments.

  23. Let me guess l. Congress has billions, but none for Ukraine
