I remember once polishing off a couple of choux buns in a dark car park at 7pm in December and looking up to see the woman in the car next to me with a thousand yard stare working her way rapidly through a sharing bag of maltesers.

  4. I used to get a big bag of Waitrose salt and vinegar sticks for helping my Dad do the weekly grocery shop. Good times.

  5. This sounds bad but I would always offer to get the chippy Tea as a child. I’d stop off at a bench near my house, sit there and eat some of the chips whilst watching the cars go by. Only a few mind. I’d carefully wrap the chips back up and scurry off home

  6. I always do a home delivery for my shopping now since I’m disabled and my husband works long hours .Always add on either cream cakes or cheesecake slices it’s my treat after packing the shopping away mind you always order two treats just in case they don’t have them.
