    Far too much commercial space existing & too much still under construction, financing costs jumping, workers still at home.

  2. Solution : switch the commercial property builders over to 6-10 storey apartment blocks, as the skillset is far more transferable than it is for people used to building 1-2 storey houses.

    Cuts the pressure on commercial property, delivers a lot of housing units instead.

    Note : as we also need to continue building flood defences, we could also consider using serial planning objectors as landfill.
