Same people doing the same old thing each week. One day, someone will realize politicians and spin doctors are like the borg. They have adapted to this kind of protesting and know how to handle it.
I don’t know what the solution is but this doesn’t work anymore. Time for some blue sky thinking lads and come up with new ways to protest.
I’ll be downvoted for sure but at least this person was out marching today instead of sitting at home, jeering people on the Internet. Is it the best, most clever poster at a protest? No. But they showed up to support something they believed in. Anyone jeering this person is a coward and very much part of problem of why “Irish people don’t protest”.
Amazing how everyone ignores the abject lack of housing and increasing desperation to make weird assumptions about some kid. Like spinning the whole protest into jeers about how the threat has no teeth.
