I got no dog in this fight (except humanity), but Israeli PM’s “*Precision attacks*” on Palestinians fits the exact same definition for terrorist attacks yet we only acknowledge one side.

Just saying, let’s keep it fair.

  2. oh boy i cant wait to pay for this whole other war with my tax dollars and the inevitable resulting skyrocketing inflation but at least the economy on paper for wallstreet will be amazing cuz we didnt vote for other equally shitty candidate!

  3. Where are Biden’s statements about Palestine’s right to defend itself against violent occupation?

  4. Israel is a terrorist state worse than Iran. Their atrocities are following the nazis at this point.

  5. I honestly am dismayed by people gloating and celebrating this. Believe me as someone who was ostracized from their family for speaking out against the IRA, this is a worse day for Palestine than it is for Israel. You can rationalize it without justifying it.

  6. Are they going to show the President all these raw videos of the attack on the children in their teens and 20s?

I’m not going to link them, to keep these images out of some people’s heads. You can find them easily, if you want. But they are something you cannot unsee.

If you aren’t upset or bothered by this news, then look up the videos with search terms. You should see them.

  7. And now we’re giving Israel 8 billion? Can the US just stop giving either side money?

This is the right thing to do. It’s strange that some people claimed that Ukraine has the right to defend itself but Israel does not.

  9. It’s hard to overlook the parallels to America forcibly settling the land that had been occupied by Native Americans. It baffles me how we can so easily acknowledge how wrong that was, while still believing that Palestinians are in the wrong for fighting back against the settlers taking over their land. Maybe the cognitive dissonance is a feature not a bug. Just really depressing.

  10. Almost immediately trump fanatics used this as ammo for biden because…

  11. Remember, people, two things can be bad at once. This attack on Israel is terrible, not only because innocent Israeli civilians died, but also because of the major blowback this will have on Palestinian citizens.

(I’m being a bit biased here, as my parents converted to Judaism when I was young.) I pray for the best, but it’s very difficult to know what is best. On one hand, you have Jews who have been displaced around the world, constantly being used as scapegoats for world atrocities. So, it makes sense why they want an ‘ethno-state’ for Jewish people. But, come on now, constantly encroaching into Palestinian settlements is only going to provoke more conflict. It’s particularly bad because the IDF will feel justified in attacking Palestinians to stop Hamas.

  12. Glad Biden condemns the attacks by WTF did he just give billions to Iran which funds Hamas???????

  13. That area of the world has known nothing but conflict since Biblical times. The U.S cannot be allowed to get dragged in this mess, but the attacks are undeniably horrific and worthy of condemning.

  14. The combat footage of all this is insane. Paragliding Palestinians. Wow

  15. Blame America First MAGAs are trying to pin this attack by Hamas on the US just like they tried to do with Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

  16. Hamas must cease to exist after this. The time for bickering over the Israel-Palestine conflict is over. I’ve been critical of Israel in the past, but it’s clear that Hamas cannot remain a presence there. They need to do whatever they need to do and with the full support of the American government.

  17. “Condemning” is just as bad as thoughts and prayers.

  18. I’m just surprised Iran would do such a thing with it’s proxies so soon after Biden gave them their 6 BILLION dollar ransom.

  19. Everything’s “terrorist” now. Easier to dismiss than say… popular uprising.

  20. I’m glad to hear our president take a firm stance.
