Damn EU and their regulations, can’t you see the fishermen want to destroy their industry
Wrecking the seas for… Less than 4 million euros. Fuck sake lads.
Meanwhile, we have about a dozen navy members. It isn’t just us exploiting our waters, factory ships from about 10 other European countries are destroying our stocks.

I hate to be that “but the EU guy”, because i’m very much pro-EU.
But I’m also from an area that has lost A LOT of jobs due to EU fishing quotas.
Meanwhile, French/Spanish and other countries ships come in and fish 100+ times more than our lads do, it’s not even comparable.
The fishermen were thrown under a bus to protect the farmers. Unpopular with the fishermen obviously but better for Ireland inc in the long run.
