My wife and I just got back from a week in Krakow. On Sunday I picked up this journal from the flea market next to the train station. I was particularly intrigued because all the entries seem to be dated 1943, when the city would have been occupied and – I think – around the time the ghetto would have been liquidated.

I’d love to know what it all says, but unfortunately I can’t read a word of Polish, so I’m hoping somebody here might be able to help translate the entries? There are seven pages with writing, plus one photograph and one drawing, and the rest of the book is empty. I did try Google Translate but it seems to struggle with the handwriting!

Any help would be very much appreciated!
