I moved here recently from the USA for a two year long master’s program. While it is very easy to create friendships with other foreigners, I’m having a great deal of trouble trying to build friendships with locals. All of the Erasmus students I meet tend to be around 18 years of age, a decent bit younger than me (23). I met plenty of locals the first week I moved to South Korea for work, but here I feel a fair bit more isolated from the local community. I’m tired of going out to pubs and bars, as I have to force myself to go out due to being so introverted, and i dont enjoy drinking (multiple family members of mine have died due to alcoholism). It tires me out. I can’t seem to find any local groups that enjoy doing what I did most in Claifornia, mainly hiking, backpacking, and reading books. Could anybody help point me to something that would let me connect with locals that aligns with my hobbies? I am located in Wrocław. Dziękuję!
