  1. There should be ships bringing people directly to the US.

  2. I’m sometimes bewildered that the majority of US citizens don’t travel abroad (basically never visit another country) and related to that, that only around 40% (estimates) even have a passport.

     

    And then I am once in a while remembered that the surface area of US is around the same as Europe (using “around”, as it depends what you actually include in Europe)… So, it’s not that wild when you take the surface area into account as the Americans do have lots of domestic travel.

  5. Fun fact. Dry land, Greece is the size of Pennsylvania or Mississippi. But because of our irregular shape, we spread out over an area of like Pennsylvania to North Carolina. Or Germany.
