  1. Social Democratic Alliance

    > “We want to apply for an EU-membership and start negotiations. We will seek a national unity in this matter and use the national referendum as the highest court.”

    Interesting

  2. Where are the right-wing parties? No ID? No ECR? Why can’t our political landscape look like this?

  3. Fun fact: 11,000 respondents accounts for about 5% of the whole electorate, given previous turnout. That arguably makes this the most accurate polling in Europe, outside Luxembourg…

  4. That’s quite a big jump meanwhile most of RE associated parties got destroyed. Why is that?

  5. What happened to the Icelandic Pirate Party? Weren’t they pretty big a decade ago?

  6. Ok ok.
What did the left wing party do? And how much did they promised to raise pensions? In my country you only get that boost if you are the One to Promise the highest pension increases.

  7. Curious, as I stopped keeping up with Icelandic politics during the pandemic. What caused B and V to fall so far? And that’s a HELL of a spike for S, is it just voters moving over to them from the others, or are they activating more non-voters as well?

  8. It would certainly be interesting if Iceland were the next country to join the EU.
