There’s no better way to get kids to read a book than to put it on the banned list!

Book banning is dangerous and in most cases I have read, completely uncalled for. The problem is, most of these “parents” either have a severe reading comprehension problem or a seriously sick mind to connect a book like this to “ sexuality”.
First they read a book about a cat next they’re furries it’s as simple as that!

TV since its inception, tried by every means to hide sex, and if ones looks at the old movies, the old TV shows and such that was the era, they tried to indoctrinate society mainly of women, to think sex was her duty and that she had to pretend as if she did not even know she had a sex organ, and with many they spent century and decades trying to make women feel guilt about having a desire for sex.

Somehow, promotion of decency and acceptance is intolerable to the Christian Right. Any attempt to suggest that perhaps finding a way to get along with everyone is laying there seeds of evil to these people. The tribalism is of biblical proportions and that’s the problem.
Children are stupid and teens are super confused. I know at least 8 teens who are 100% not trans but changed their names and want to be gender-free I’m guessing because they feel like they don’t belong and want to be interesting and unique.
I don’t think it would hurt to have conversations with these kids about what is really going on in their lives instead of just placating them. The kids I know all have trauma and shitty home lives, several suffered sexual assault.
But banning books is never an answer to anything.
