Today (October 8th) citizens of Luxembourg go to polls to vote in parliamentary elections!
Luxembourg parliament, the **Chamber**, is unicameral and consists of 60 deputies (31 needed for majority), who are elected for a **five**-year term, in four multi-member constituencies, by [open list](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_list) [proportional representation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proportional_representation), and allocated using [Hagenbach-Bischoff](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hagenbach-Bischoff_quota) quota. Voting is mandatory for all citizens who live in Luxembourg and are between 18 and 75 years of age. Citizens abroad may vote by post.
Turnout in last (2018) elections was 89.7%. Polls open at 8:00 and close at **14:00**, so we should expect official results today evening.
