Ship owners and crew should not be legally obliged to help people at sea if those same people wield knives and could potentially kill you. Thats fucked up.

Wow, I’m watching the Spanish news and as I was reading this they talked about another ship rescuing immigrants and landing at Fuenteventura, with authorities there asking for help to the central government because they can’t deal with all of the immigrants coming to the island and they sleep on the floor or at the beach.
I assume it’s the same ship, there was absolutely no mention of this.
