In the winter I lose sleep because it’s always dark, in the summer I lose sleep because it’s always light. The game was rigged from the start.
I just stare incredulously at the complete darkness at 9AM thinking my ancestors did *not* move here willingly.
Istg, one time during my time in kansalaisopisto (don’t know the right English term for it), one weekend I slept till 4PM bc I thought that bc it was so dark outside, it was still in the morning and I fell asleep for several hours and was quite shocked when I got up and it was 4 PM already :”DD summer is the worst tho, too much light lol.
The trick is never seeing 8am 🤘
Oh hell, I have this same problem as well. It gets really confusing sometimes.
Something that has help me with the shorting and legnting of the days is to have a routine. Eating, exercise leisure time. Having a “biological clock” help you to don’t get confuse .
Try waking up at 2pm in the North. It’s like spending all your life in darkness.
It’s not only that there are so few hours of daylight. It’s also that it’s also usually overcast during those few hours. Down here in the south anyway.
Easy. Just stay indoors during the day so it is dark each time you look or go out so you must rely on clock all the time.
I’m an early riser so I have to look at my watch to see if I need to go back to sleep. Oops, only 0330? I need to go back to sleep.
Lmao, 6am and 6pm are equally midnight dark here, my sleep schedule flew out the window somewhere in November

First look like 08:00 and later looks like 20:00.
