Hochul sucks
According to reddit.
Ukraine/Russia = illegal occupiers bad
Israel/Palestine = illegal occupiers good
Apartheid = bad when shit talking Elon
Apartheid =good when it’s called Hafrada
Hochul sucks in this regard
Without knowing the details of the marchers motivation, I believe that standing up for the Palestinians is quite different than supporting Hamas’ actions. Israel has become an apartheid state.
Apartheid is morally repugnant.
First Amendment
the article didn’t give much detail about the rally

I think it’s ok to support the Palestinian people over Israeli over reaching on human rights, without supporting Hamas.

What are Palestinians and Arabs in the US supposed to do? Rally in support of Israel?
Hochul is pandering to the pro Israel crowd. People who have nothing to lose and are being slowly constricted will inevitably lash out in abhorrent ways. That is human nature.
Never a word about apartheid. New York government executives suck asses.
Hamas is bad.
Isreal stealing people homes and land and destroying a people culture is not aby better.
Hamas is not the people
Talbain is not the people
People forget that .
Israel is such a shit show. I don’t see how this ends
Unsurprisingly, Reddit isn’t in the loop on this one. This organization is the same org that has said that every man woman and child in Israel is a legitimate target of violence.
> One could (and should) very well argue that in a settler colonial context there are no such things as “civilians”, but disregarding that even, it’s total folly to honestly compare settlers perpetrating pogroms to resistance groups deploying violence to liberate themselves.’
> This is a stunning statement. The distinction between civilian and military personnel, non-combatants and combatants, in an armed conflict is the dividing line between those who have the protection of international law, whom it is a war crime to target, and those who may be intentionally killed, legitimately, without limit or sanction, anywhere in the theatre of conflict. Saying that there are no Israeli civilians (not even women, children, or the elderly) is saying that DSA considers it legitimate, as a general rule, to kill any Israeli.

The US supports Palestinian genocide:

Nobody cares because they’re Muslim.
The amount of anti semitism in this thread is sickening
ITT: AIPAC brigade. And they support all of the following:

Nelson Mandela… what did he do?
Curious about the responses I’ll get.
No matter what side you pick you’re going to get dog-piled. Any support needs to be nuances to the Nth degree unless you want to either be called a colonist or a terrorist
Because it’s not a pro-Palestinian rally.
It’s a pro-Hamas rally.
And that means it’s just another “Eradicate the Jews” rally.
I think we need to just step back and let them fight it out.
Isreal created an apartied state in Palestine, and now they are fighting back in the most gruesome way imaginable. Let them figure out their shit by themselves.
You know what is morally repugnant? Kicking an entire group of people either out of their country or made to be second-hand citizens for almost 80 years.
Most American politicians are afraid of Israel super pac money. They either capitulate and take a boost. Or take a principled stance and have the money go to a primary opponent.
