Can we also talk about how ridiculous the training process for non-career employees to become permanent employees. We have a system where depending on where you may wind up, you can work as a non-permanent employee for a couple of years, 12 hour days 5 days in a row, not know if your shift tomorrow is until 4pm or 8pm etc. It could be a role that helps pull people out of poverty, especially like a single parent, but they pretty much make it impossible. Been an issue for years.
At the same time, DeJoy is corrupt and its ridiculous how difficult it is to remove him from the position

Immediately upon accepting the role of post master Dejoys private company was awarded a multimillion dollar logistics contract. How that isn’t conflict of interest, corrupt, and reprehensible is beyond me. He’s shit all over a great institution in the name of helping Trump. When he took over around election time delivery times lengthened dramatically and people complained about not receiving Mail in ballots or their ballot never being delivered after being filled out. Fuck DeJoy I hope he gets prison time.
If it was DeJoy it was evil and money grubbing for some 1%’er. Let’s make a fair and thoughtful plan. We need USPS to work

Honestly twice a week residential is enough for anyone given 98% is junk anyway which nobody wants except the PO for income. So reducing delivery would more than make up for that and eliminate spam in the process.
