Hi all,
I live in Oslo and I’m planning to drive to Lapland for Christmas vacation. I haven’t decided on location but likely to be Utsjoki, Inari or Kilpisjärvi (Most likely, as this is the closest one).
I read this: [https://www.lapland.fi/visit/plan-your-stay/lapland-information-driving-winter/](https://www.lapland.fi/visit/plan-your-stay/lapland-information-driving-winter/) to begin with, but I still have few questions.
I already have ice scraper, blankets and shovel in the car. I have new and decent nordic winter tires, even though they are studless.
\- How does roads kept in there? Should I expect a lot of driving on thick snow?
\- There are electric cabin warmers, 140w and 70w, should I buy one of those? In Oslo, it takes around 15-20 minutes for engine to get warm, opening the heater and melting the ice so never actually needed one.
\- Any other suggestions?
