Goethe studied in Strasbourg for a while, and he is describes this cathedral very well in his autobiographical book. I heard it there for the first time. One of the my biggest dream is to visit one day.
To see it in person is breathtaking how tall it is. It was the tallest building in the world for over 200 years.

I was there and it was magnificent. Top tier.
