  1. “Abu Quta, 57, thought he and his extended family would be safe some hundred meters (yards) away from the house that was alerted to the pending strike. He huddled with his relatives on the ground floor of his four-story building, bracing for an impact in the area.

But the house of Abu Quta’s neighbor was never hit. In an instant, an explosion ripped through his own home, wiping out 19 members of his family, including his wife and cousins, he said. The airstrike also killed five of his neighbors who were standing outside in the jam-packed refugee camp, a jumble of buildings and alleyways.”

  2. Hamas should have thought about the repercussions before mercilessly killing israeli civilians.

  3. And here we are. The reason this conflict is so brutal and so everlasting is the constant killing of civilians on all sides both intentionally and unintentionally. When people say “war is hell” I think of the Israeli-Palestine conflict.

  4. Assuming the information is correct and Israel bombed the wrong building, mistakes are going to happen.

Innocent people die in war. There will be more stories like this, some even being true

  5. Interesting, they felt safe within 100 meters of a building where a warning was given. Tells you how much faith the average Gaza resident has in the Israeli military to:

    a) warn the right home

    b) target the right home

    c) hit the right home

    d) have no system or human problems that cause a 100-meter miss

    e) weapon will hit where it was targeted with no 100-meter margin of error

  6. Hamas move is to provoke then act victimized like who could of thought the IDF would retaliate.

  7. Here’s an idea, or a suggestion, rather. When a house right next to yours gets a roof knock, maybe consider moving yourself and your family more than 100 meters away from the upcoming blast zone.

  8. Every life lost this weekend and in the upcoming days and weeks is on Hamas. Even gaza civilian deaths are victories in their eyes as it furthers their mission of hatred, this is their goal.

  9. Listen I’m as pro Israel as you can get but this is just sad. I don’t know if it was a mistake hitting the wrong building, or there was bad intel or what, I’m just sad civilians died. Regardless of my hate for Hamas, it’s a tragedy and it’s sad.

  10. So all is going according to Palestinian Leadership’s plan I see.

  11. I genuinely hope that Middle Eastern Muslim nations open doors for Palestine refugees. Because i dont think IDF is going to stop, until the entire Gaza strip is destroyed.

  12. They should send their rage to Hamas, who does nothing except prevent peace from ever happening.

  13. If you aren’t involved get out, no sympathy anymore after the recent attacks and footage.

  14. …..hey garbage news, how about you cover the 260 festival goers that were butchered by Hamas garbage??? Or the 750 women, children and elderly kidnapped by Hamas garbage.

Nope, just cover what Israel does in retaliation to butchery.

    FYMFOTD.

  15. It’s so sad

These people would never have died if Hamas had not attacked

  16. and those 19 family members would be dining together tomorrow if Hamas had not brutally attacked Israel this weekend…

  17. At what point do we stop calling a place a “refugee camp”?

I’m not saying this to take a side in the conflict but we are talking about a place that is 75 years old in a place where most people are under the age of 18. Its grown from having about 100,000 people to having over 2 million and being one of the most densely populated places on the planet almost entirely due to it having one of the highest birthrates in the world for most of a century.

  18. I just commented in another thread how nothing the Israeli government has done can justify Hamas’s terrorism against innocents.

Let me also state that nothing Hamas has done can justify the Israeli government’s terrorism against innocents.

  19. It’s always the civilians who suffer in these conflicts. How much do you wanna bet Hamas militants prevented this family from leaving when the IDF instructed them to leave the area, so that their deaths could be used on social media to garner sympathy?

Using people as human shields should be a war crime, and yet, terrorist groups like Hamas, IS and Taliban keep doing this.
