Well, vote for Hakeem Jeffries then and get some work done!
Republicans do not know how to or care to govern.
I live in red, I don’t know a single average rightwing voter who is ‘fuming’ about this, they are all ‘never-Kevin’.
The House Republicans are seating a new Speaker in 4 days.
Those ‘fuming’ federal Republicans are deeply disconnected from their base (hence the rise of ‘rebels’ within Congress)
Also, the whole blindly support Israel thing is among older voters not Xers/younger. Wars sucks but Israel has some explaining to do of why and how this slipped through.
Its like mainstream media and many on this board forgotten the rightwing became more influenced by alt-media and places like 4chan.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I agree with them for once. A broken clock & all..
Republicans in disarray.
How about that. The Republicans realize governing is about real things, important things, things where lives hang in the balance.
And here they were, thinking the entire time governing was just reality TV!
Fire them, all of them!
Or, you know, Ukraine.
But have the libs been pwned? That’s the real priority.
It doesn’t take a great leader to shovel money at Israel.
Republicans could elect someone new first thing tomorrow morning. If they don’t, then Dems should hammer them unmercifully
I have an idea, GOP. Put on your grownup pants and pick a new leader.
Interesting how republicans prioritize Israel over America.
Oh, I see. Not worried a bit about funding our own government, or providing funds to keep Russia from remaking the Soviet Union. But as soon as Isreal is in trouble, all the professed evangelicals jump into the fray to bring on the last days.
They are children who have no idea about good governance.
So throw them the heck out!!!
Don’t worry, they did what Putin wanted.
They blocked the ambassador nomination
So, what’s the response going to be then?
Keep bowing down to Trump and electing Jordan?
Do they know there are jews in Ukraine too?
No one could plan for what happened to Israel (at any given moment).
The point is you should *always* be ready to govern, like for any reason. Because at any time there could be a reason for you to need to. I mean, really.
Republicans are *really, REALLY* at their ropes end with what they are willing to tolerate to appease the radical factions of the party.
Its long past time to try and salvage their party but truly the only hope they have – now and in upcoming elections – is to work with Democrats, restore function to government, and agree to unify in purging this cancer from their party.
I.E. – stand up to Trump.
Regardless of the raging media clicks this would generate I’ve *zero* doubt a majority of their constituents agree.
Trumpism is dying and taking the GOP ( and America) with it.
Not quick enough, sadly.
They wouldn’t budge on Ukraine, but suddenly they’re more than happy to get in on helping Israel
Fuming at themselves for not holding Trump and Gaetz accountable. Morons.
Maybe republicans shouldn’t have changed the rules that were working for many years prior.
What? They aren’t blaming it on Democrats?
As if the Repubs haven’t been leaping over each other to screw up every aspect of American life for years.
Now it’s the rebels fault, is it?
Planning ahead does not seem like a strong trait nor considering what’s best for the nation.
They may be fuming, but are they going to do anything about it? Nah.
then fucking get your house in order? these people are so fucking frustrating
GOP proving to be the most useless “political party” in the world right now
