I know reason as a Spanish Youth
1- Glorification of violence and violent music and street life. Nowadays violence is glorified with drill music and violent gang music that glorifies henious things as rape and extreme violence
2- Lack of Empathy and Cruelty. Spanish Youth can be cruel af because cruelty is seen as something normal. People abuse each other psychologically and physically and is serm as socially acceptable to bully the different and weak. Is seem as resilient to handle violence and sexual objectification from males and to be reslient to bullying
3- Lack of Sexual Education. Is self explaining
4- Lot of emphasis on whether or not you got a partner and a lot of social pressure. There is a lot of obectification of women on young circles and a lot of social pressure to date. It is even socially acceptable to manipulate to be able to date
5- Violent porn and gore. More and more people consume this type of toxic content and get affected by it
6- Lack of education, culture and economical prospects leave people in hopless states that lead them to violence and radicalization
7- A culture of trauma, where cruelty is passed through generation, with many families with issues with alcoholism, drugs, poverty, many separations and remarrying (but with abuse being done by male partners) and the kids feel unlove
8- Lack of positive male models. The famous Spanish YT-Twitch community is toxic with underclassmen that are mysoginist and toxic being popular
9- Excessive masculinity required. Spain is very untolerant of alternative masculinity and with a lot of instances of attacking someone for not beinf male enough

Sexual crime is trick, if they incluide more things than rape it could distort the issues.
If we talk about gang rape, it’s the same people.
If we talk about % of a person to rape, the “same people” have more chances to do it.
Porn has nothing to do with it, people in their mid 30s had access to porn from childhood.
Sadly most of the time they talk about very violent rape, it’s the same people.

Because is normalised, example: everyone already forgot what happened few weeks ago, at a globally televised sports event, where the coach of the team kissed the non-consenting athlete? If episodes like these happens even during such events, can you imagine at home, at school, etc?
Oversexualization of the woman body (especially teens and young adults) with no real let out. I can’t talk for Spain, but in Italy having sex from a young age it’s seen as a status symbol from men and the age at which they start to have sexual experiences it’s getting lower and lower (both for boys and girls). Not to mention that stigma against virgins it’s becoming more and more prevalent, and that even here the “incel” culture it’s spreading like fire. Sexually speaking Italian culture it’s still very backwards and places too much emphasis in male machism, we also have prostitutes in the streets by night and a lot of escorts around, but the government refuses to reopen the brothels closed decades ago, that could possibly solve some of this issues.
In short, bad environment and bad sexual education.
it’s all the hypersexualized media kids are consuming;from music videos to easy access porn on their phones. it’s turning boys into dopamine depleted chronic masturbators with psychological problems…just look at most of reddit for example. smoke dmt and watch porn..it looks so evil and sinister from that perspective lol
Just take a looongg look at YouTube shorts and there’s your answer, the whole thing is filled with Andrew tate, sneako and Jordan Peterson, literally full of sigma male material.
Times have changed, boys aren’t sent to brothels by their fathers to “become real men” anymore and teenage girls’ bodies are not negotiated anymore in marriage dowries *shrugs* but boys are still teached they’re entitled acess to girls and women’s bodies because patriarchy never stopped happening and well
Honestly? *This reporting is just… bad.* It takes a stat and then shops with people to ask whether they recognize it and then thinks up explanations itself.
The rise in stats is only this year. That is not saying much. A sudden uptick is not a trend. And 14% rise is not ‘soaring’
They could have changed the way the stat is reported. They could have had a lawchange. For example, start including revenge porn, or record people sending nudes of minors. There you go!
This will at least be in part be caused by the importation of cultures that completely clash with European morality and ethics, and the failure to adequately educate and assimilate them. To the point where these cultures are now influencing youths in certain, often disadvantaged, demographics and changing perceptions of what is “right” and “cool” for the worse.
