  1. Disclaimer: This wasn’t stolen, just creatively acquired.

  2. Chances are they aren’t even undelivered packages he’s just stuffed them with crap he’s bought on clearance & can’t sell.

  3. Buy them, you better buy them. These are not stolen, they just haven’t been paid for

  4. I had one that was ‘undeliverable’ yesterday, I wonder if it’ll end up on one of these

  5. I saw one of these at a show and had the same thought.

On closer inspection, however, they seemed remarkably certain about the range of goods and values contained within, and all the (inefficiently blacked out) delivery addresses were the same.

It’ll all just be crap he’s bought on Shein and Temu for 50p.

  6. It’ll just be random stuff placed in packaging and sold as undeliverable.

Even if they were genuinely undelivered packages there’s no way someone wouldn’t go through and check for valuable items, reseal the crap and sell that as a lucky dip.

Van is a bargain at £2 though.

  7. Am I the only one that’s not skeptical here? I would assume masses of unclaimed parcels go back to the depot each day – and that the original dispatcher would reserve the right to eventually get rid of them.

On a side note, a family member of mine sold a motorbike on ebay to a guy who never ended up picking it up. Eventually, in line with guidance, they left it outside for the council to dispose of.

  8. And yet amazon still make a billion in profit. So you know, whatever.

  9. There are actually several websites that will sell you undelivered/returned parcels like these. All sorts of crap. Ashens has a couple of videos where he buys some of the packages IIRC.

Not sure I’d trust it at a car boot though…

  10. i remember reading something (years ago though) about even royal mail itself running these events sometimes. presumably it’s a little more reliable in that case, with more genuine undelivered packages that haven’t been opened, but there’s still no guarantee you’ll get anything remotely relevant or useful.

no idea if it’s still happening but i can imagine how people would jump on the bandwagon, maybe they’re using people’s existing knowledge of RM’s practice.

  11. The last two items I had from Amazon

    1. A 4 metre long extension lead

    2. A rock and roll fancy dress kit for a 7 year old
