Shhhh dont tell anyone but the US will likely stay ‘at war’ with different elements in the Middle East so long as there is oil. Keep it on the low please.
Syria and Iran: 👀
We’ve been ramping up to a fight with Iran for months. This goes back to the oil tankers Iran was stealing from weaker countries. Things have been relatively quiet since we sent an Amphibious Ready Group with a complement of more than 3,000 Marines to the Straight of Hormuz. They’re still there by the way. If shit hits the fan it will hit really fast.

The point, obviously, is not to go to war, but rather to keep Syria and Iran from becoming actively involved. We’re not in a position where we can afford to bluff right now.

One would think that they’re intentionally keeping the US busy – not condoning any players in this theatre of war but interesting to consider.
I’m honestly surprised the US even tries to come up with excuses to start wars anymore.

If I was running that show, I’d kick the shit outa anything that moved offshore related to Iran. Of course, completely unattributable. Shit would be an oil slick if it even moved from either.
We need to send Jared Kushner back to the Middle East to negotiate another peace plan – he’s probably read even more books on the subject by now!

Is there even the slightest evidence that either Syria or Iran is preparing to go to war against Israel? Because otherwise, why waste breath on a highly improbable hypothetical?

The USA has a big stick, don’t force us to use it.
We may have to expand our defense industrial base sector, create more employment, drive up wages, and lower unemployment to provide all the weapons and ammunition needed for Ukraine and Israel.
I suspect new factories are already on the drawing boards.
I’m pretty sure only congress can legally declare war and we don’t have a functioning one at the moment
