Of all the ways to support Israel, this feels like the one that helps Israelis the least and damages Palestinian the most, unless that aid was used towards fabricating weapons (which I doubt)

Did Germany and Austria suspend aid to Israel when Israel expanded their territory several times pillaging Palestinian villages and murdering civilians? When Israel didn’t prevent settlements on disputable territory? When Israel was declared an apartheid regime by the UN experts?
Supplying humanitarian aid to Gaza is nice on paper, but the problem as things have turned out is that even if the aid money is used strictly for food, shelter, and water, Hamas can then turn around and say “well great, now we don’t need to spend any of our own resources on food, shelter, and water and can instead just funnel all of our resources towards terrorism”
It’s an incredibly ugly situation that should have never been allowed to get this far. The formation of Israel in the first place was already a dodgy enough prospect, but even after that the west shouldn’t have allowed Israel to occupy the Palestinian territory alone, and the subsequent settlements, land grabs and abuses are unconscionable. This whole situation is a clear example of why it is illegal under international law to grab foreign territory and settle it with civilians.
At the same time though, now that the situation especially in Gaza has degenerated so far, the population is so radicalized, unstable, and dangerous that there’s not really anything that can be done. If Israel uprooted millions of people and moved back to their original borders, inflicting massive trauma, expense and damage to their own people who have now lived on those stolen lands for generations, what would happen? Hamas wouldn’t bury the hatchet, they would just be more empowered to carry out further attacks. We know this both from their actions and from their explicit, official statements, and we also know that a large chunk of the Gazan population is in favour.
Modern Gaza is an open air prison yes, but the prisoners share an increidbly toxic genocidal death-cult. We’ve seen what happens when a prison break happens multiple times now.
