  1. The guy speaking at fucking CPAC isn’t a democrat? Breaking news indeed.

  2. If we could harness the power of both his father and his uncle spinning in their graves, we would solve the world’s energy crisis.

  3. “Look at me, look at me! I’m a Kennedy! Look over here! Hey look! Why aren’t you looking?!? I’ll dance for you! Look here! Love me!! LOVE ME!!!”

  4. Good for him. Democrats weren’t going to vote for him anyway. Some Republicans would, and now that he’s running as an independent, it’ll just help to split the Republican vote. It’s a win-win for Democrats.

  5. Did he even apply to get on any ballots? It wasn’t even a Democratic primary bid.

  6. You know how when you make a copy of a copy and the quality of the printing degrades? Well, this would be the human version of that phenomenon.

  7. This guy is running in an attempt to split the democrats vote, but because who’s last name is Kennedy he’ll end up pulling some Q-Anon votes and hurt republicans on accident.

  8. > *Willy Wonka has entered the chat, “Stop. Don’t. Come back.”*

  9. If state level GOP parties were not collectively broke I would expect him and West to get massively astroturfed pushed for ballot access in as many key states as possible. But since they have been hemorrhaging money due to legal fees I bet these fools can’t even get ballot access in most states.

  10. That is very bad for republicans. Pretty much every liberal I know finds him repulsive

  11. RFK is about 40 net points approval points more popular with GOPers than Dems. Don’t see how he’s gonna act as anything other than a spoiler against Trump.

  12. Good. Siphon the conservative, antivax, flat-earth, Elon votes.

  13. I could’ve sworn I just read a piece where RFK said he wasn’t going to run third-party. Checked, and yep.. direct quote:

    > “Even if I was going to run as a third-party candidate, which I’m not, I would probably take more votes from Trump than I would from Democrats.”

Dude can’t go a couple weeks without being a hypocrite.

    🙄

  14. This is good for Democrats, right? I literally haven’t seen any Democrats that like this guy, but the “moderate” (AKA ‘The republicans right now don’t represent my beliefs, but I still vote for them every election’) Republicans seem to like him. Won’t this just peel votes away from the GOP candidate, with little if any negative impact to the Democrat?

  15. Man’s crazier than a shit house rat. The only folks he is pulling at this point is trump voters

  16. Oh cool so he’s just finally admitting he’s a pawn of the Republican Party to move voters away from the democrats

  17. All of these ghost candidates that Republicans put out there. Finally one of them will bite them in the ass. There’s the whole Florida thing from a few years ago which seems to have stalled (they ran independent candidates with the same last name as the incumbent), Sinema (she clearly sold the seat and has a cushy job lined up when she leaves), the woman in NC who suddenly became a hard core Republican overnight. So many more that I’ve forgotten, and that’s the whole point.

  18. Because he is a GOP stooge, and I’ve said ALL ALONG, despite arguments from RFK apologists to the contrary, he was planted to sap votes from the Dems.

  19. Here I fixed the title – “RFK Jr. no longer able to pretend he’s a Democrat and is launching an Independent or Third-party run”

  20. He will capture the Joe Rogan vote, which will hurt Trump more than Biden.
