  1. This is their only play. Fuck this is going to get bad.

  2. Interesting. I guess the Israeli’s in their homes and people at the music festival missed the Hamas warnings on Saturday prior to the attack.

  3. I’m sort of curious but do people in Gaza actually move when the roof knocking or flyers happen? And do they have enough time?

  4. This is not news, terrorists kill for the purpose of killing and attention grabbing, they aim to cause terror and chaos among the population.

Those hostages are already dead, even if they are virtually and technically alive, they won’t live long.

This will spur more hate towards religious extremism, and more bloody battles, I guess Gaza will be leveled.

  5. These big bad wolves are definitely blowing houses down… Shouldn’t have awoken the sleeping giant.

  6. Ever see the movie Munich?

    Watch what fucking happens

  7. Hamas didn’t think this one through. If they kill the hostages, there is no reason to let Hamas survive.

It seems to me they are already desperate, realizing they kicked the can and woke up the IDF in a way they probably shouldn’t have.

So the IDF can strike at will, and Hamas is forced into a lose-lose situation.

Either way, they die. Israel doesn’t play games. They play to win, not compromise. Anything less is seen by their enemies as a weakness and a failure to defend themselves.

I feel sad for the hostages, whose only hope is for Hamas to realize their position and surrender the hostages and themselves peacefully. Only then can they have a hope of living. The same for Hamas. There are going to be collateral casualties. But the Israelis accept that.

I got word from an Israeli friend over there yesterday. They are pissed to an extreme, and highly motivated. What’s being reported in the media is all true. This is beyond our 9/11, and like us then, their nationalism is soaring. The Israelis are coming for Gaza and Hamas. No matter what.

  8. > Hamas Spokesperson Abu Ubaida: “We have decided to put an end to this. From this hour on, we announce that every attack on our people will be met with the execution of one of our enemy hostages, and we will broadcast this with audio and video.”

Hamas doesn’t care about their civilians. They just use the civilians as human shields and want the warning for themselves so that they don’t get blown up.

  9. This only shows that the IAF is hitting Hamas’ pain points. Israel will continue to push them. Either Hamas doesn’t execute the civilians – and then they are bluffing, or they do and they lose all sort of legitimacy forever.

  10. This is the dumbest step they can take.

Their only hope of avoiding total destruction is letting the hostages go.

If they kill the hostages, the Gaza Strip will be levelled

  11. Israel’s not gonna stop. Hamas will kill the hostages and yeah.

  12. Highly doubt it since they are backpedalling and willing to accept a truce already.

  13. This the level of infantilization, hamas calls foul and expects Israel to warn them before they attack or they will commit more crimes and kill civilian hostages.

I want to see the pro hamas stooges trying to spin this one.

  14. I’m afraid those hostages are going to be killed. No one can let terrorist win. But that’s on Hamas now.

  15. Delusional visions of glory and virgins.

That’s all the hope Hamas has left. RIP hostages, the world will never forget this monstrous terrorism by your captors.

  16. The IDF needs to be the Iron Scalpel in order to remove Hamas as the cancer they are

  17. Terrorists doing Terrorist stuff, how intriguing. I wonder how many thousand Palestinians will die before hamas is crushed beyond recovery

  18. Executing hostages would be an extraordinarily bad idea.

  19. “Without warning” just like that music festival that left hundreds of innocent people dead

  20. Gaza is under siege – A few days without food, water, and electrify should change their minds.

  21. When they said “we are at war” that was your fucking warning.

  22. Hamas is incredibly naive if they don’t think Israel has already somewhat accepted that the hostages are likely dead regardless.

  23. Televised executions was the plan all along. They will try and use this moment to ignite another intifada. Best to move swiftly and directly with plans for loses. There are joy good outcomes from this situation.

  24. The plot twist can be “IDF threatens to carpet bomb Gaza if 1 Israeli hostage is executed”.

  25. How dare Israel retaliate after a surprise attack with…wait for it…surprise attacks.

    You reap what you sow

  26. I’ve been saying this — Israel is going to turn the Gaza Strip into the Gaza Strip mall if this doesn’t deescalate. There will be no buildings left over 1 story tall

  27. Palestinians just surrender Hamas terrorists and the Israelis unharmed if you want to see Gaza as your home again. If not.

  28. The talk in Israel is really changing. IDF has lived in a defensive bubble for too long. The iron dome, border fence, and advanced intelligence has kept Israelis safe most of the time, but the times they have failed have been of great consequence. We are about to see the IDF go back to their old thinking. Swift decisive offense against their enemies will be the new MO

  29. Easy solution:

For every hostage killed, strike harder.

    Make killing hostages counter-productive.

  30. The terrorists are threatening to kill hostages while calling for a truce. Who could’ve seen that coming.

Reminder that Israel hasn’t even begun the full air, sea and land operation. The response from Israel will be unlike anything we’ve seen until now. Gaza’s fate has been sealed.

  31. Terrorists Sympathizers on Reddit

    “They’re the victims”

  32. And what? As if the hostages are not already tortured to death? Even if alive, was Hamas just taking them to see gaza strip, and planned to return the hostages safely after the tour?

What choice does Israel have? Placate hamas, a known Iranian surrogate terrorist group and essentially telling Hamas that taking hostage is the best way to get what it wants?

There is no good outcome for either side, hamas attack already sealed that outcome.

  33. Do they not realize that they are only causing irreversible damage to the palestinian cause by committing straight up terrorism

  34. At this point anyone supporting hamas is just outing themselves as a psychopath.

  35. More reason to eliminate them all (hamas)
Those hostages will never be released. So they need to be stopped permanently from ever doing this moronic bs again

  36. I was saying this from the jump. Hamas thought that by taking hostages it would give them leverage. However that, paired with the blatant massacring of civilians will have the opposite effect. The state has no feelings, if the state comprises, then anytime Hamas wants a concession they just start murdering, raping and sequestering people. As far as Israel is concerned, it’s a tough choice, but they have to count those hostages as a loss and focus the entirety of their resources on demolishing Hamas.

  37. Bye bye Palestine. I’m sure Iran has room for those who can escape. Too bad the ones taking the brunt are the children whose parents voted for Hamas, a generation ago.

  38. Israel: “We will continue attacking, consider this a warning.”

  39. I don’t really think what Israel is doing can be called a surprise attack. I think a reaction was exactly the purpose. That and the fact they are texting people in Gaza the locations to evacuate and move to.

Whether people agree with the actions or not, they are hardly a surprise or without warning.

  40. > without warning

That’s fucking rich, really. You just can’t make this up.
