    Dus een politicus (voorbeeldfunctie) die letterlijk minderjarigen online aan het groomen is, krijgt 18 maand (5 jaar uitstel) en e boete van 4000€ (peanuts voor een politicus, 3 jaar uitstel) omdat hij “ongelooflijk stom is geweest” en dat beseft??

    Hate to say it maar het land van Detroux toont zich duidelijk nog altijd niet in staat om pedofilie serieus te nemen..

This ACTIVE POLITICIAN was fully aware of what he was doing when he was loading up the chatapps.. If you’re living near Deurne he might have even chat up some of your own damn children… Who’s gonna help them?!? Does anyone give a shit about the kids who will be emotionally scarred potentially for the rest of their lives, getting justice or help? That 4k won’t even cover the costs of investigating, how many cents of it will go to help abused children?…

  9. Ik heb altijd gevonden dat een politieker, een voorbeeldfunctie, toch wel veel grotere boetes mag krijgen voor zulke dingen. Hij verdient al meer geld, omdat hij een verantwoordlijkheid krijgt. Deze is hij niet nagegaan en moet dus een deel teruggeven, lijkt me eerlijk. 4000 euro lijkt me niet zo veel voor zo’n zware daad.

  13. Vanaf dat iemand naar zijn/haar pedoseksualiteit begint te handelen (oa dus ook kinderporno opzoeken) vind ik dat een echte straf op zijn plaats is, niet enkel voorwaardelijk. Ook al heeft iemand zich fysiek niet vergrepen aan een kind. Ik vind ‘pornografie’ trouwens ook niet het juiste woord om te verwijzen naar kinderporno. Kinderporno is zware verkrachting en mishandeling van kinderen, deze kinderen dragen daar hun levenslange littekens van mee en ik kan mij goed inbeelden dat merendeel van die kinderen hun leven gewoon compleet om zeep is (zware mentale problematieken, verslavingsproblematieken met alle gevolgen vandien, hoog risico op zelfmoord,…). Kinderporno downloaden/verspreiden/bekijken moet even ernstig gestraft worden als kinderverkrachting zelf, want zonder doelgroep is er geen reden om kinderporno te maken.

    Plus die man was ook echt al actief contacten aan het leggen met kinderen en aan het groomen.

    Dat die in therapie zit lijkt mij echt zo’n onzinexcuus. Iets wat je in zo’n situatie eerder doet om jezelf in te dekken en onder een zware straf vandaan te komen indien je betrapt wordt.

    Naar mijn mening hoort er 100% nultolerantie te zijn vanaf de moment iemand naar zijn/haar pedoseksualiteit begint te handelen.

  19. Didn’t actually harm children directly (unless something came of his online contacts but it most likely didn’t since they don’t mention that), is getting help. This isn’t Dutroux ffs. So despite the people foaming at the mouth at the mere mention of child porn, a probational punishment, and conditions that he needs to continue his therapy is the sensible option.

    Throwing someone like this in jail is only going to hurt people in the future. Now he still has something to lose, after ten years in jail he doesn’t. So unless you want to take responsibility when he actually rapes children in 10 years, your petty revenge feelings are dangerous and counterproductive. Have fun explaining that someone’s kid got raped because you just wanted to punish without any regards for the consequences.

  20. Literally just throw him in jail and leave him there till his bones are dust. Anybody that’s involved in the making or consuming of child pronography needs to be thrown into a medieval obliette with rabid rats for food, especially people in power.
