Seems that it has already started. What is the best guess at escalation from here?
Hate to say it but if Israel hasn’t been preparing for the possibility of an attack by by both Hamas and Hezbollah then they’r idiots.
They better get whatever they can in before a multinational coalition of special forces comes to collect their people back. Not to mention, Israel alone can ***justify*** reigning down absolute hell on this guerrilla force/civilians.
The choice must be made: If Hezbollah gets involved, will they keep the Aircraft Carrier group parked out in the ocean, looking intimidating? That, or will they decide to intervene.
Hezbollah would be idiots for getting into this if they can avoid it.
I don’t think anyone in recent memory has seen Israel this pissed off.
What could someone be offering to offset the losses they would take by sticking their hand in a blender like this?
Pretty sure this is exactly why the US deployed to the area. Interesting to see what the response will be if this continues. I hope cooler heads prevail.
They think the world will be depleted of resources to support Israel. Also could be a deterent from Ukraine allowing Russia to build up its military industry
It seems to me like they are trying to do enough to say “See we helped” but also seems to have gotten the message that they would be absolutely destroyed if they do anything meaningful.
Hezbollah is playing with fire here. At this point, Israel has zero patience and will not hold their punch when provoked.
Seems like their plan is to FAFO
Lebanon about to be turned into desert again.
If the hezbullies need another ass-kicking, they have but to ask.
This is just business as usual on that border. Israel and Hezbollah are constantly throwing ordinance across the border at each other,
If anything this business as usual handbags between them is comforting in its familiarity.
Every authoritarian regime or militant organization with an axe to grind thinks now is the time to make their move.
Feel like all this bullshit is just going to be a precursor to China going into Taiwan. I honestly wouldn’t put it past north Korea to just go into South Korea at this point.
Not to go off on a tangent but I keep wondering what the evangelicals are gonna do when all this doesn’t usher in the rapture. ‘cos you know they’re foaming at the mouth in anticipation rn.
Russia needs this war to open up on all fronts so America gets invovled
What is the end game? What exactly does the Iranian gov think they are going to gain here?
Last time there was a 2 front war in Israel, it didn’t end well for the Arabs.
Iran is behind it lbr.
As someone who lives in Israel let me explain, 4 terrorists invaded from Lebanon and were quickly killed, Hezbollah was very quick to go on a statement to say it wasn’t them, later the Jihad took responsibility for this.
But, anything that comes out of Lebanon is ALWAYS approved by Hezbollah, so Israel quickly responded by artillery and fighter jets.
Anyways, there’s a reason why Hezbollah hasn’t really attacked Israel since the second Lebanon war in 2006, they don’t want a repeat of what happened to them then to happen again. But Iran is the octopus and Hezbollah and Hamas are just their tentacles, so if Iran says to attack Israel, they will, but they definitely dont want to.
Israel is in the most aggressive state as we ever were (as we should be), and this attack could lead to an attack on everyone, I don’t think people will expect the results that will happen, we will take action no one could have imagined. This war will change the middle east, I have no doubt about it.
I smell an axis being developed. By spreading the violence and opening up multiple fronts AND locking down the US ability to govern, thanks to our helpful Republicans…. This could be the beginning of something bad.
Forgive me for this…. But… if they do… I’m ready to watch the F35 at work… just saying…

All but confirms Iran is at the heart of this

They’ve been [warned](https://www.9news.com.au/videos/world/us-warned-by-hezbollah-against-intervening-in-middle-east-conflict/clnj8nt6n008t0jp839wief9s) to not get involved; what good is an empty threat?
