I remembered the video of the painted flags on the ground from a few years ago. Hadn’t seen the recent soccer stadium video though.
I’m sure there are people from all perspectives in Iran, but there is pretty clearly a large disconnect between the government and the people. It’s a shame that the US and the West in general has such an antagonistic past with Iran, but hopefully the people will break free from the current governance in the future.

How does the regime compare to life in Gaza or the west bank?? Like… you actually think people cant see what you’re saying? ITS NOT A CIVILLIAN BLOCKADE I SWEAR 😏
People maybe don’t know because they see what the Iranian leadership is saying but the people of Iran have a lasting relationship with the people of Israel. We’re talking about a history of more than 2000 years of shared experiences and even families. Iranians don’t give a fuck about extremist Palestinians. And they are way closer to Jews and Israelites than people might believe.
There’s such a beautiful country trapped in Iran

The football fans made me tear up. There is some hope for humanity yet. Americans should remember that there were candle light vigils in Iran after 9/11. ….Then we fucked it up by responding badly.
