Refer to grown ass adults who are in their 30s and 40s as ‘young people’ and the lie that was sold to us may still be attainable (go to college or get a trade etc, and you’ll be able to buy a house, have a family, and live relatively comfortably.)
They wouldn’t dare admit the reality that our generation has been failed repeatedly by the state; that would mean someone would have to bear responsibility and shock horror, even be backed into a corner to do something about it.
They are getting the opportunity to get about 600 euro back of their own revenue if they keep a tenant long term. Hardly el Dorado.
