We have friends visiting for a little over two weeks and will be traveling around Europe. We are trying to figure out SIM card options for them. I’ve seen these prepaid cards at our local Lidl, but I’m trying to figure out how they work.
Specifically looking at the “Smart L,” for Lidl’s (Vodafone) service.
Is this something someone can use temporarily? And if so, can someone explain which one I should get? Otherwise would be glad to hear of better options outside of this.
(These friends have previously tried airolo, and found it to be unreliable traveling through Europe.)

If they are from the EU, the roaming option chosen from home for their existing SIM could be the best option, as it’s just for two weeks.
With those LIDL Connect SIMs, as well as any other prepaid SIM, they need a German address to register the card, and they also have to verify their ID either with a video-ID or in a Postfiliale. Of course, YOU could get the SIM for your friends instead.
if they have a new phone and just need internet
a e -sim
is a good option than u just have to download a app and dont have to go to the shop with an id
