I’ve been asking myself that same question daily for years.
With family gatherings like these, who needs reality TV when you have the Trumps?
Of all the great mysteries on Planet Earth, perhaps none are more mysterious than this one.
So ask we all
Lady we’ve all been asking the same thing for years now.
Because the war on terror only applies to non-white people in the middle east, not people who are actual threats to our safety.
I dunno, but it’s the best argument for stripping generational wealth I have ever seen.
He’s not really a flight risk or a direct threat to others. He’s presumed innocent until found guilty. He’s a former President and a current major candidate for office, so this is all fairly unprecedented and no one really wants to be responsible for setting precedent or making a mistake that backfires and makes them look like a fool for all of remaining American history. Taking action against him risks forcing the GOP leadership into defending him even more out of self-preservation. If you think you’ve seen the worst of what they might do just to maintain relevance and power… don’t bet on it. Think of naval rams as an analogy for what could follow.
And of course, there’s mob rule. Don’t convince yourself we’ve ever been free of it. We were a fake democracy for most all of our existence because of it. A bunch of wealthy white men deciding that only wealthy white men could vote and set the rules was undemocratic from the start. You can tell yourself it was a different time, but the people denied the vote for the first hundred-plus years won’t necessarily appreciate the distinction.

My problem with media parading her around all the time is her statements about Trump are pretty meaningless now. It was kind of interesting when she first came on the scene but now she’s like a broken record. She’s no longer “Trump niece” so much as “Trump critic”.

Because Trump being free to strut around and shit on everything is making it impossible for the National Republicans to do what they know MUST be done, and have someone other than Trumb as the 2024 nominee. They’re hoping that Biden’s Justice Department, or one of his other indictments, will take him off the board, making their job easier: Using that martyrdom, of Trumb in a cage, to rally the brainless cult around someone else. (Jeb*?*)
The longer the GOP waits to remove Trump from contention, the harder it’s going to be, and will more likely end in a permanent schism, and minority status in the republican party. Which will be good for America.
The Dems are being smart by forcing the RNC to do the dirty work themselves, and reap the whirlwind of MAGA stupidity as thanks.

It would be amazing if one of Trump’s sons pulled a Kendall Roy and went on TV denouncing Trump and embarked on a crusade to bring him down. It won’t happen but it’d be cool if it did.
If he threatens the prosecutors again he’s going to get an even more stern finger wagging from a judge.
This whole family, including Mary, is exhausting. Cant wait til the day we never hear from any of them again.

At this point the only thing I’ve been able to surmise is he has an incredible amount of dirt on some incredibly powerful and affluent people. He has no actual money, so he’s simply just useful informationally. And whoever’s been shielding him has been also keeping him safe from being suicided.
I think we’re all wondering this. He’s actively intimidating witnesses, and court members of his various trials, shared classified Intel from nuclear subs to Insraeli defense systems and more. Like the CIA lost more assets in the years following leaving office than they’ve ever lost in similar time period and its only ever been a footnote of reported at all. Honestly I’m surprised the CIA hasn’t been more involved, but they’re a bunch of fascists anyway.

ANY OF US would be behind bars while we awaited trial for all the crimes he’d committed. Innocent until proven guilty, please. We all know he’s been on his knees in bed with the Russian Mafia for decades before he was even POTUS.
Has anyone ever sarcastically asked Merrick Garland why Trump is still walking around a free man? Just wondering.
I think he’s out and about to give him a better chance at something untoward …
