  1. Don’t worry, reddit neckbeards will still try to convince you it was the Ukrainians. And if you don’t believe them, then it was the US.

  2. Did BP release Cthulhu from the depths of the ocean or something

  3. PM Petteri Orpo, finnish border patrol and military, KRP (Keskusrikospoliisi/national bureau of investigations), energy minister and Traficom held a press conference in YLE. The gist of it was, that it couldn’t have been an accident, and no common Joe has skills and equipment to cause the damage that was found. KRP is working together with Estonian officials and they’re looking into this.

  4. That is scary. It looks awfully much like an direct attack on NATO. Underwater pipes and communication cables is an weak point almost impossible to defend.

  5. Yep, NATO is going to war

Edit: downvote me all you want, within 12 months you’ll see I’m right

  6. Are we going to learn the truth about who did this, or not like in Nordstream case?

  7. It would be a lot crazier if they were damaged by internal activity. Cables just damaging themselves.

  8. Was it someone whose name starts with R and ends with ussia?

  9. That is an awfully narrow strait, if the Russians really want I guess it could be blockaded by Finland and Estonia on grounds of protecting the pipeline…

  10. Wonder when people will wake up to Ukraine-Russia being the first steps towards WWIII? Now with Israel-Hamas, and probably more to come, I can see the conflict escalating beyond regional battles.

  11. Back in the Cold War the US and Russia would go after telephone line to tap them using divers and subs so why not other stuff? Did they find empty vodka bottles around the area?
