  1. No way did Lord Miles survive again lol. Absolute mad lad.

  2. Miles will have one hell of a ride in detailing what it was like being held by the Taliban.

  3. Reading the title I thought someone else was holding them hostage and the talibans freed them for some reason, so I was baffled AHAH

  4. So Lord Miles was just hanging out playing xbox after all lmao

  5. Total non story. Brits go somewhere, break the law, and get arrested and held in custody. Then they are released and the UK releases an apology to the government of the country whose laws were broken.

  6. > Scott Richards, co-founder of the Presidium Network, said the men were returning to the UK on Tuesday. Richards wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter): “Mr Cornwell and the three other British nationals, which includes Miles Routledge have been released and have left Afghanistan. They are coming home! Thank you to everyone for their support of these men during this difficult period. We are all relieved.Cornwell’s family said at the time that he had been issued a licence for the handgun by the Taliban government. It is understood that the five had been seized separately and British sources said nothing was given in return for their release except an apology by them.

So what did Cornwell do wrong if he had been issued a license? Did he apologize just to get released? NGL I would have done the same too but I’d like to know if he actually broke any “rules”
