People need to protest, riot, walk out of work, refuse to pay rent for a month, spray manure at the local government buildings. If people did this in large groups, there’s already a shortage of cops and the jails are overflowing, with the courts tied up its a perfect time to actually show the government that the country is angry and the people have power. Vote these pricks out.

That’s not accurate though – or at least it’s a gross distortion. Renters are entitled to a tax credit of €750 per person, not just the increase. Landlords are entitled to a single credit. A house with a couple will therefore be entitled to €500 more credits than the landlord. As there are far more tenants than landlords the government will spend more on the renter’s credit than the landlords.
But accuracy has never been a pbp trait. Or decency either for that matter
