There was a terrorist attack with 1000 people killed and many wounded. Condemnation to the perpetrator and support to the victim is the way to go for someone who isn’t one-sided. That simple really.
I would argue that the problem is not ‘one-sidedness’, but rather ‘both-sidedness’, eg drawing a false equivalency between the terror campaign of Hamas and Israel’s response to it. It is Hamas that is targeting civilians, as well as using human shields in defence, therefore they are responsible for civilian causalities on both sides of the conflict. And it is not like if only Israel would disengage from the West Bank and Palestine would have full control over their claimed territory, the conflict would be over. Quite the contrary – when Israel did disengage from Gaza, Hamas took it over and turned it into a radical terror cell. Most likely the same thing would happen if Israel would leave the West Bank, Hamas and their allies won’t stop before they have wiped Israel off the map. I don’t think we should allow this to happen.
Yes when you rape women parade them around town to be spit on kill children kill old people on bus stops massacre a “rave for peace” and take hostages with the intent to murder them it’s totally a revolutionary act /s
Europe is intellectually rotten.
Clearly for them it’s more important to maintan moral superiority than to stop barbarians from murdering civilians. In their mind Israel should just strongly condemn these acts and settle this peacefully in front of the ICJ and in the mean time let its people be raped, beheaded, mutilated and murdered.
Another man who likes to defend burning women alive and beheading children as “an uprising of the colonised”? If that’s what this supposed decolonisation looks like, I’d honestly propose looking into sticking with coloniolism then.
No he is right Israel also rapes Palestine they ste both horible
Everything before the but can be discarded, because it’s never their honest thought.
This is good, for us to know who our internal enemys would be in case if war.
Same as the russian invasion. Everybody suported ukraine, but then after some time passed, the communist rats inside showed their face.
One-sidedness is ok, as long as the aim is to avoid further civilian death, and that the war must be halted – despite unclear wording for the goal of the war (anti-terror/other).
EU should stay neutral and say nothing about the I/P war.
Indeed, you cannot say you care about civilian casualties if you only count the Israeli ones.
Why the hell would someone support a terrorist organization and state
Because no one wants them to grow up and come hear in Europe
Israel is not a coloniser.
Jews have lived there for longer than nearly every nation on the planet. Israel was a place for centuries before Islam was even a thing.
Although Israel definitely did bad things in the past and didn’t help solve the situation between them and Palestinians, right now there’s nothing wrong with showing support to Israel after terrorist attack. What was done cannot be excused and it’s european duty to show Europe won’t support or stand with terrorist attacks.
Why do you have to put it in quotation marks? It seems directed at undermining his message
Uncomfortable by the fact that the EU stand with Israel instead of a terror organisation?
I don’t remember Israel to slaughter European and American citizens.
Whoa whoa whoa, Europe is just happy commit genocide of Jewish people for millennia and support Israel unconditionally. Let the desert people fight it out. We would not to scratch up old memories by being marginally fair, would we?
Israel is presently air striking a university in Gaza because, in their own words ‘they are training engineers’…
Now this is a very complicated situation **AND** both sides are just the worst for letting this slow war wage on for decades **AND** the UN is terrible for sitting idle and watching for decades **AND** military tactics are often complex and rarely pleasant to witness ***BUT*** I struggle to find common ground with any country that air strikes centres of education because academics are ‘a threat and military target’.
