  1. Does this include drunk driving? Also what’s up with Slovenia wow.

  2. man I know it is shit to live close to austria but this 🙁

  3. PIGS and socially drinking wine. We’re doing alright, phenomenally.

  4. This is surprising to me, considering our alcohol consumption metrics.

  5. The chart seems to be using this [ICD-10 definition](https://icd.who.int/browse10/2016/en#/F10.0). I’m not sure what Redditors can do with this info. Except conclude that countries have radically different mental health services to the point that this info is useless on its own.

  6. Death per 100 people? I think it’s not a dot you wanted to use

  7. I don’t like the data, so definition of such deaths must vary between each country. xD

  8. Looking into this: seems like Slovenia is a wine and brandy producing country. 73% of kids drink their first drink of alcohol before age 10. 23% of men have alcohol problems. Slovenians rank as 2nd biggest wine consumers globally. Even the national anthem mentions a toast. Seems embedded in their culture.

(I’m a Croatian who moved to the US so this is strictly stuff I’ve looked up online). Someone correct me if I’m wrong please.

  9. /r/Ireland will be seething that we aren’t a nation of broken alcoholics that bully the intelligent introverts of the subreddit

  10. Fuck, mabye for the best that scotland isn’t on this one.
