Why would you want to repeal this law?. Fucking hell
I’ve never been happier to not be born in that hell.
What the actual fuck
I hate this timeline.

As much as I dislike Islam, unfortunatly FGM is a practice that is widespread in African continent in all religions, not only Islam.
It’s been a tough news week, hasn’t it

Religion is a disease
There’s a great article put out about [the origins of FGM in the Red Sea Slave Trade](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/global-health/women-and-girls/female-genital-mutilation-red-sea-slave-trade-route/). Seems that the religion itself might not condone it, but it was used as a way to increase the value of a slave woman. Whatever the case, there’s no medical justification for such backwards practices, especially if its origins pertain to slavery.

We need a ban on this for women and circumcision for men
Feel bad for the SteriCycle franchise owner for Gambia…..
Getting kinda sick of how fucked up this world is
When does the peace part of religion start showing itself? Just curious because we’ve been humoring all these fucking dumbass religions as though their delusions are somehow sacred, but for what? Is there a pay off eventually or are we just handing the planet and all our fates to these Lennie’s?
It would be one thing if it was like a little ceremonial scar or something which wouldn’t do any real future damage (idk a mark or something) but there genuinely isn’t any argument for FGM that isn’t “to take pleasure away from the woman.” Very sad, I hope this doesn’t happen. Imagine, men, living with the tip of your dick cut off.
Religion is a mental illness.

I’m gonna take a wild guess and say it’s men who want it repealed in the name of God and honor.
