Hello everyone. I’m coming to you for CV advice!

Other information that might be relevant and some questions:

1) I am currently a master’s student looking for an internship or HiWi Job in the aforementioned fields, but also interested in computational linguistics/natural language processing (my studies)

2) Is my full address and birthdate necessary to include? Or can I only add my city + country?

3) As a students, should my studies or my work experience go first? I assume studies, but would like to double check.

4) Is color accents viewed negatively in Germany?

5) Are multiple pages seen as a negative? I for sure do not have enough experience to fill more as of right now, but I have heard that in contrast to the US where they want the most recent/relevant ones, Germany wants every single experience to be added which means much more space taken up.

Thank you in advance for any help!

  1. Unprofessional opinion:
First one looks more elegant and aesthetic, but „Jobby McJobface“ got me somehow

  2. Same field here. I used a template similar to the 2nd one. But cleaned it up with sansserif fonts and more white space… and an acsentcolor

  3. 1. what is your question?

    2. usually you do; also phone, email, name

    3. studies

    4. if it’s decent, it’s fine, nothing too fancy please

    5. some pages are okay, but you definitely don’t have to write everything down.

Even though it’s marketing I would still lean towards the 1st, it looks more professional. The 2nd one looks like a fever dream.
