  1. How did they run out of fuel?

Weren’t they given billions of dollars of aid just for this purpose?

How did all the resources, raw materials and merchandises given as aid disappear?

  2. It isn’t Israel’s fault that Hamas failed to stick up on supplies. Nor is it Israel’s duty to supply Hamas with anything.
This is very sad for the people of Gaza, but the organization in charge of them has made a decision that will kill many of them.

An apt comparison might be Japan during WW2. As Japan was starved of oil and all of the Japanese except for the higher up’s suffered.
The reason why they didn’t have much oil is because their largest oil supplier, the United States, embargoed them over actions in China. Japan then decided to go to war with the United States, and so that supply of oil was cut off completely.
It is not a crime to stop supplying your enemies.
They did gain the Dutch East Indies, but a combo of distance, manufacturing, and the US navy made that untenable.

  3. Just a small clarification – it’s the sole power station inside Gaza. Israel and Egypt provide some more power to them. (on normal times)
Ironically One of the first hits by the Hamas missiles to Israel was a power station in Israel that provides Gaza with Electricity

  4. Seems like they had plenty of fuel for unguided rockets that indiscriminately target civilian neighborhoods

  5. Fun fact about 60% of their electricity was from Israel

  6. None of this news is good for anyone. Every side loses.

  7. Israel should formally accept wounded Gaza civilians in their hospitals. It is XXI century and those civilians may be unintended collateral casualties of the strikes. The gesture would mean a lot for the world’s support for Israel, a slap on misinformers but mostly it would be a solid ethical stance of Israel.

  8. When the attack first happen I’m ashamed to say I was all for bombing Gaza to wipe out Hamas. But the last few days have just shown that they are unlikely get rid of Hamas and very likely to cause death and suffering for millions of innocent people. I hate everything about this situation

  9. They need that fuel for rockets, explosives, and ventilation systems for their tunnels.

  10. Fuel and electricity is one thing

Food, water and medicine something totally different.

When 2.000.000 people doesn’t have anything to drink, this can only be bad.

The only way out would be to group together and go trough the border with ten thousand or even 100.000. The more the better.

Isreal cannot shoot when so many, help seeking civilians, are going towards freedome /safety.

Not even the US would be able to justifie any atacks Isreal makes towards fleeing civilians.

This would crush the support for Isreal, if they would shoot.
That’s a possibility to safe innocent people.

  11. Israel is about to find out what happens when you continue to approach a scared dog in a corner.

  12. Gaza is a war factory containing many innocent lives, it’s a sad horrible place that has gone straight downhill since 2005.

  13. Damn maybe you shouldn’t spend your money on missiles and instead actually govern your people and provide for them? Oh yeah that’s right they don’t give a shit
