Looking forward to see some nice beavers in the wild!
They were hunted to extinction 400 years ago but have been slowly reintroduced over the last 20 or so years
Giant beaver dams holding back a large enough amount of water breaking can actually be devastating to entire communties. Happens all the time in the US.
They looked around, said “Yup, still shit.” and promptly left again.
how many west London trees are there to eat?
Well at least some good news
*Nice beaver!*
…*Thanks I just had it stuffed*
There was plenty of beaver when I was in west London. Rimshot!
Wild beavers? Clearly no one’s been to a pub in Southampton. Wild beavers are everywhere there.
I give it 6 months before some yahoo kills them.
about time west London got some
Fun fact: some artificial vanilla flavours and scents come from a secretion that comes from a gland in beavers anuses. You’re welcome 😀
400 years? I thought it was popular to keep beavers wild as recently as like the 70s.
