Don’t mention the naval service. (You can’t call them a navy cos the Treaty 1921). Shhhhhh.
I’m sure it will work this time, the gardai have had so much practice with other drugs.
Aye Helen, I’m sure the most incompetent minister for justice we’ve ever had and the former RUC man will be all over it.
Can’t be done when the Defense Forces only have the staffing to have 2 of their 8 vessels at sea. With the current state there’s no way they can adequately monitor the ocean and intercept ships involved in illegal smuggling.
Sure it’s going very well with all the other drugs isn’t it Helen?
Opiods aren’t as big here as the states so fent womt really be a big deal, I’d be more concerned about crack and then meth
Genuine question, is this supposed to be the same Fentanyl used in clinical settings? Or mixed with all sorts of shite? I know feck all about *street* drugs.
I’m sat here on prescribed Tapentadol (Benzenoid class opioid) for awful abdominal pain. It helps with that, but makes me feel *awful* in other ways. I had a colonoscopy and gastroscopy in August and found by looking through my records that I was given 50mcg of Fentanyl during the procedures. Makes sense because I was in *no* pain for the first time in months when I woke up. That stuff is very powerful.
Ah yeah, prohibition. Bet it’ll work this time.
This shit blows my mind.
The Netflix documentary on it is fucking terrifying
It’s 50-100 times more potent than morphine and responsible for over 75,000 deaths in the States.
Everyone knows it’s fucking mental dangerous, but STILL it’s gonna get here and be used.
This is going to kill so many people.
You know what you can get in those high security supermax prisons?
Drugs.
In the tightest, most controlled, most watched places in the world: you can get drugs, and you can get fentanyl.
But prohibition is just about to work in Ireland boys.THIS time it’ll work. Granted there’s been a few hiccups in the past, but that’s in the past. They’ve sorted it now.

Is fentanyl actually here? Serious question.
