  1. how in the everloving crap does anyone think the israel/hamas thing could cause ww3

  2. I dare any down-voter to offer a substantive rebuttal…. go ahead, I welcome challenges to my thinking. But if you’re going for insult points don’t bother. On the other hand, if you can move my thinking I will be in your debt, with gratitude.

Original post (before the cascade of down votes)……

I’m 100% for Ukraine…. BUT…. for God’s sake Volodymyr, pull your head out of the Middle East ass. Hamas has committed war crimes, but *so has Israel.*

    * To repeat, Hamas has committed war crimes, but *so has Israel.*

#If you doubt me, google search “Israel’s war crimes in Gaza”.

For clarity you can even dial in a time frame of 1900-2022, to omit the cacophony of recent 2023 events.

Right now, Israel is bombing residential areas outside its borders, in Gaza. Right now, Putin is bombing residnetial areas inside Ukraine’s borders. You’re a laughing stock if you throw down your moral credentials with Israel, in their own anything-goes genocide against Palestine. You’d also be a laughing stock if you give *carte blanche’* to Hamas. No one in that conflict has the moral high ground, except the scattered voices on both sides who bravely condemn any and all violence from either side.

  3. Where’s the sniff bit about needing sniff another billion ?

  4. I understand Zelensky needs help from the west and Israel could provide them a lot military support too, but his comparison of Israel with Ukraine makes no sense at all. Israel is the powerful country occupying Gaza and they don’t need any help at all, Palestinians are the ones who have no way of defending themselves.

  5. Shouldn’t world leaders better observe the situation a bit longer or better keep a distance from israel for some time? Things can backfire in the future when you support a bad actor like netanyahu too harshly. If it’s really true that he was warned and still let all this happen with all the power in the world then i don’t if you should trust him.

  6. It’s highly unlikely this war leads to WW3. There are some possible escalation paths that could do so, but I think the absolute biggest the war could escalate to is a large regional war (I would consider this unlikely still though). The main reason I don’t think it will cause a world war is because I believe WW3 will fundamentally be about China and the USA, the same way the first two world war was mainly about how a strong, united and imperialistic Germany upsets the balance of power in Europe. Since China doesn’t give a single shit about Israel or Palestine, it would take a drastic escalation for them to get involved (i.e, America, the West, Russia, Iran, India, etc all join the conflict, which I just don’t see happening)

  7. Funny, considering his past rhetoric to get NATO on the ground against Russia or restricting their air space.

  8. Maybe the west, but not the Middle East or any muslim country.

  9. It seems no one has enough money nor citizens with the drive to fight an actual ww3. So many governments have lost the trust of their people, everyone is just trying to get by.
