I’m attending a local Ukrainian Awareness event in the US (image unrelated). Is there anything I should know about before I go?

3. The proper response to “Slava Ukrayini!” is “Heroyam Slava!”?

4. I am not sure what your event is, but the events I attended always had some sort of food component. So bring some cash for treats that are usually sold for fundraising. Be ware as even in the USA you may encounter provocateurs. In one case I saw a taxi pull up to an event in Phoenix and started blasting soviet anthem (yep!). Make friends as you will meet a lot of people from all walks of life, Ukrainians and non-Ukrainians.

5. Where is one in the US?; been trying to find one I can get to, would love to go. Slava Ukraini!!
