Pro hunt police officer looks the other way whilst on duty at her own hunt

  1. To say people dis-miss the idea of the police being corrupt, shore are a lot of corrupt police officer about.

  2. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

You wouldn’t believe how many senior police, judges, lawyers etc are tied up in foxhunting.

They’re not stupid. These professions are fast passed into the inner circle.

  3. I see a photo of her on a horse – is that all they’ve got on her?

Just puzzled how this “proves” anything.

  4. I despise fox hunting.

The truth is, I couldn’t give a shit about the foxes, I just hate seeing rich cunts enjoying themselves and flouting the laws that normal people have to abide by.

  5. There are men assaulting people who are clearly visible. Checked shirt guy punching away, smiling and laughing. Another guy with his face covered who then takes his mask off.

Where are the police when people are getting visits for ‘offensive’ tweets.

  6. In the 90 second edited video there is about 2 seconds of the police officer. She was on her own. She said to someone, “do not talk to me like that”, to which she got the reply “fucking slut” twice.

They couldn’t even cherry pick footage to support their argument.

Zero evidence she looked the other way. None.

Zero evidence that she is a member of the hunt, other than a tweet from @keeptheban on twitter ffs.

They then publish the name of the PC publicly.

Dorset Eye, where this story appeared, is just another rage baiting click revenue generating rag known to support conspiracies.

I wonder if Jason and Deborah Cridland, who run this rag, would be happy to have their home address published?

  7. 1) There is nothing that stops a Police Officer from being a member of a Hunt organisation?
    2) Also I see no evidence In the video that she has turned her back to anything?

Where then is the evidence of the so called misconduct or corruption? Just seems like made up journalism to me?

  8. I have no problem with people that actually eat what they hunt (fishing / deer hunters etc), but all these posh twats do in their fancy dress is ride around on their horses behind the pack of dogs they just released waiting to see what fox, badger or some small animal got ripped apart..

  9. Posho twats looking out for posho twats. Nothing new here. This woman should definitely be suspended and investigated. It’s as clear as day her intentions to defend her own little wanky club.

  10. There’s a few different aspects of this that should be addressed.

In terms of her being a member she should absolutely have made her supervision or control room aware when being sent to that job that she was a member. I would expect there to be some disciplinary actions taken if she didn’t do so. It may be that she did do so but was the only available officer. In which case she will need to explain her actions and decisions. Ideally she’ll have had bodycam on the whole time.

In terms of what she should have done when there, the way the video appears edited doesn’t show that she was actually present when all it kicked off. However if she was, she appears to be one of the only officers there. What do people expect her to do in a large angry crowd like this? At best she can arrest one person which won’t achieve much, and then she won’t be in a position to keep an eye on anything else, or collect evidence, take witness and victim details.

She needs more units there to deal with the public order issue that is ongoing. The alternative way to deal with it is by collecting all that footage that will be available, collecting details, and conducting the investigation slow time. In my limited experience with anti hunt protestors a lot wear their own bodycameras for example. And many know exactly who the members of the hunt are as they do their research. So they can work out ID’s and the like and bring people in later.

  11. Why do all the modern day serfs support the posh twats? Are they paid or just subservient morons?

  12. I’d be curious if she made any biased decisions…I mean you can’t tell me that Police Officers at football matches don’t support the teams/opposition – the point is what decisions did she make.

Abysmal she was on her own though.

  13. Aren’t they doing trail hunting though? Isn’t “real” fox hunting illegal? I know that there’s more to it than that and sometimes foxes get killed by hunts which break the law. But everyone’s going on in the comments about people tearing foxes apart as if the Hunting Act 2004 doesn’t exist.

  14. Some fun stuff about the police in general from *Private Eye*:

  15. I don’t see her turning her back during any of the fights in that video? In any case, no lone police officer is going to wade into two groups intent on pummeling each other like that. You aren’t going to gain any control in that situation without the numbers.

I don’t like fox hunting and I don’t really understand rural high society “pass times” but that article was absolute inflammatory garbo.

  16. Ah yet another story of the police and their complete uselessness as a tool for upholding the law. Unless youre one of the dirty poors or the wrong colour anyway, then they seem to delight in doing their job.

I wonder what course of action is available to remove police who refuse to do their job and are protected by higher ups.

  17. There’s some real witch hunting going on here. And this clearly isn’t a neutral source.

They haven’t even proved that she’s actually a member of the hunt. They’ve shown her on a horse. If she was a member of the hunt then why didn’t she request that day off well in advance so she could go on the hunt?

  18. I mean I’m not seeing that police officer doing anything wrong. The article is written pretty biased.

For hunting or not, there will always be twats on both sides.

  19. If it’s legal, which it is, it is against the law to interfere. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it can’t be done. That’s being liberal. British if you like. If they want to do country sports, fill your boots. Personally I think if you haven’t tried something at least once you don’t really have a valid opinion.

  20. I admit – living in the US I don’t understand the hate of fox hunting in England. Perhaps because in the US they are normally not actually killing a fox – but following a scent trail laid previously.

  21. I think people whom partake it fox hunting ought to be psychiatrically examined/investigated. There’s something not mentally sound about wanting to go and be part of a ripping apart of an animal for blood sport.
