I have def been getting more hate messages than before :/
(then again, it’s my own fault for staying on twitter)
Most, as in… 57%?
I hate these titles; while not *wrong*, when I read “most”, I think 80%+
Lot of older people to my surprise as well, who grew up in a very different time/attitude towards lgbt people and things. Most aren’t exactly enthusiastic or passionate, but I’m still surprised how many people were willing to change their views.
Most US voters are not equally represented in congress.
I find these abstract polls of little value; insights on true public opinion are better gained from more specific questions (and this poll had only one which showed a split in public opinion and even quite the diversity of opinion among LGBT people)

what more protections are needed?
What specific protections would those be?
