Just so everybody knows – the person running the YTC account is known by other London Cypriots to be an absolute idiot. He represents a small fraction of Turkish speaking Cypriots displaced to East London and generally co-opts social justice for his own benefit. He has openly and proudly stated he has no intention of living in Cyprus until he retires, so he is essentially just another British expat taking advantage of our beautiful island. He responds with nothing but hostility when being held accountable for his racist views.
He doesn’t give a damn about justice. He’s just another person who refuses to break the cycle of trauma that is Turkish nationalism.
