Strange that it wasn’t reported on at all. My vision is too bad to drive but not bad enough to qualify for free travel under the current rules so this is honestly fantastic. I’m sure it will also benefit people with all sorts of issues preventing them from driving that weren’t previously covered.

  1. Good news. One of those things that seem so obvious you wonder why it wasn’t brought in years ago.

    One big issue with the free travel scheme is how useful it can be to someone living in Dublin compared to the rest of the country can be light years apart. In vast areas of the country the free travel scheme is close to useless given the scarcity of public transport.

  2. Can I be certified if I get extreme anxiety in a car? I’ve been in 3 crashes in my life and in none of them was I the driver.
